This video shows a giant and apparently heavy duty robotic hand that can be controlled by a waldo (a remote manipulator that fits like a glove into a human hand). It seems from this video that this gigantic robot hand's main purpose is to provide entertainment to fans who want to see it drop large objects from above or crush steel drums like beer cans. What's interesting though is that this is the kind of hand that we'd expect to see in a life-size 'Transformers' robot someday when they finally become a reality.
